Women in Industrial (WIN) is an industry body established to attract greater diversity into the industrial and logistics sectors. Through employment, education and networking opportunities, WIN helps women explore and thrive in this dynamic field.

Since 2022, RM has been WIN’s content marketing partner, working closely with its marketing committee to develop and deliver ongoing, strategic content.

Challenge

As a young industry body led by a volunteer committee of busy professionals, WIN needed consistent, high-quality content to build credibility and engagement.

The committee knew what it wanted: for the website, blogs and LinkedIn posts to reflect WIN’s mission and values. But with limited time and resources, it needed an experienced content partner to take the lead, establish a strategy – and keep execution on track.

Solution

It all began with an overarching content strategy complete with a defined brand voice, audience personas, content pillars and publishing calendar. This ensured all content was consistent, purposeful and aligned with WIN’s goals from day one.

Using this strategy as our trusty compass, we now produce WIN’s:

  • Monthly articles: Each month, we interview industry leaders to create articles and posts that spark discussion and position WIN as a leading voice in its sector.
  • LinkedIn content: We write regular social posts to support events, industry updates and thought leadership.
  • Website content: We regularly write the copy for WIN’s website – continually shaping the messaging to communicate the team’s mission, vision and opportunities.
  • Annual ‘Year in Review’ document: At the end of each year, we write and design this key strategic document for WIN.
  • Ad hoc marketing collateral: Beyond copy, we support WIN with design work for social content and other marketing materials as needed.
