At Refresh Marketing, we’re a tight-knit team of creative word nerds.

We love puns and alliterations. We debate about hyphens. And for us, nothing hits the spot better than nailing the perfect headline. But most importantly, we’re a group of professionals who support each other through thick and thin – and do our best for every client.


Founder & Strategic Director

When I was little, I wanted to be:
A kindy teacher

A marketer born and bred, I decided to go out on my own after 10 years as an employee in big corporations. (Turns out, bureaucracy and politics are overrated.)

In those early years, I freelanced by day – and lectured in marketing at Monash by night.

Then as my client base grew, I took the plunge and hired other writers to give me a helping hand. Years on, and Refresh Marketing is now a bustling agency with a small team and countless projects always on the go. 

Today, as Director, I focus mostly on client strategy, team leadership, account management and business development.

I’m also out and about at least one day a week presenting writing skills workshops to corporate teams and individuals.

A mad dog lover since forever, I’m especially partial to Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. And a tad obsessed with my little tricolour girl, Peggy – the princess of my household.

General Manager

When I was little, I wanted to be:
A TV aerobics instructor

I’ve worked in the marketing industry for over 20 years – gaining valuable experience on both the agency and client side. That means I know exactly what it’s like to be in my client’s shoes.

Copywriting has always drawn me in. I love the stories it tells about brands, and the creative opportunities it can open up. Seeing a client brief come to life with words is very rewarding.

Although I’ve worked in many industries, I’m particularly interested in the not-for-profit, lifestyle and mental health spaces.

One thing you should know about me? I can’t go a day without coffee, and my children (most of the time). And on my days off I take advantage of living out bush – spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Head of Copy

When I was little, I wanted to be:
A dinosaur

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) majoring in Criminology and Media Studies. Deciding to follow my love for content writing, I moved from NZ to the UK. Since then, I’ve been writing and editing in the tech, automotive and SaaS sectors. I bring flair, fizz (and hopefully fun!) to my work. To me, it’s all about showing empathy towards the reader – asking, how can my words truly benefit them, or their business? When I’m not writing, you’ll find me showing off my rap ‘skills’ with a beer in hand.


Senior Copywriter (off duty)

When I was little, I wanted to be:
A Jedi

Having worked across media, PR and marketing, I’ve got a knack for producing content that strengthens brands. I’m also interested in psychology and behavioural economics – always curious about how words can affect perception and decisions. When not writing, I’m a landscape photographer. And I enjoy scouring Google Maps for unmarked forest trails to explore.


Copywriter & Marketing Lead

When I was little, I wanted to be:
A movie theatre usher

As a recent marketing graduate, I bring creative writing and design skills to the team. I’m fascinated by consumer behaviour and how it shapes communications strategy and copywriting. Always abreast of trends and culture, I believe inspiration is all around. We just have to keep our eyes and ears open! When not at work, I love to draw. And I take my op shopping very seriously – always buying second-hand wherever possible.



When I was little, I wanted to be:
A mermaid

I was a broadcast journalist for years before moving into the world of digital content and marketing. As an avid story lover, I’m always excited about writing content that is personal, relevant, and easy to understand, no matter the topic or industry. I love word games and puns. I also dabble a bit in art. But mostly I try to survive my kids’ demands and build my secret choc stash.


Copywriter & New Business Specialist

When I was little, I wanted to be:
A pro soccer player

Wanting to pursue a writing career a little later in life, I completed my Master’s degree in Editing, Publishing and Creative Writing. Since then, I have worked in digital marketing, PR and copywriting. This has given me a real taste of many different writing types and styles. Beyond the written word, I’m a mental health advocate – reading and sharing inspiring stories when I can. In my spare time, I put my skates on and hit the ice for some fierce ice hockey tournaments!



When I was little, I wanted to be:
A singer

As a former YouTube content creator, I bring a strong sense of voice and tone to my writing – with just a little bit of cheek. With qualifications in professional writing and editing, I’m deeply fascinated by psychology and anything surrounding mental health and personal development. I love music and books. And, I make a wicked latte.



When I was little, I wanted to be:
A ballerina

With a trio of skills in business, copywriting and coaching, I bring a multi-faceted approach to my writing. Although I’ve always had a soft spot for words, it’s people that capture my heart. I’m always on the lookout for that next professional connection and conversation. When it comes to the industries that spark my interest; wellness, not-for-profit and coaching top the list. Away from the keyboard, I love to push the edges of my mortality – bungee jumping seven times already!


Training Producer

When I was little, I wanted to be:
A librarian

I studied a Bachelor of Commerce before completing a Master of Marketing. This set me up nicely to explore a varied career in communications, marketing and product analysis. I’ve worked for a range of companies including an IT training provider and an investments business. When I’m not busy producing RM’s writing workshops, I’m drawn to the water. I love going on coastal walks and paddle boarding, before kicking back with a cocktail and sea view.


Copywriter and Content Marketer

When I was little, I wanted to be:
Spiderman (until I got stuck!)

I studied a Bachelor of Laws/Arts with a major in advertising. If anything, this demonstrates my strength and interest in both conventional and creative writing – I know when to keep it safe, and when to toe the line to make people ponder, reminisce, and laugh. Outside my work with words I’m passionate about sports, performing arts and Star Wars. I always come back to writing, though. In fact, I write my own songs in my downtime.


Copywriter and Content Marketer

When I was little, I wanted to be:
An archaeologist

While working part-time at RM,  I’m also completing my Associate Degree of Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT. So I’m kept very busy! My favourite thing about copywriting is being able to immerse myself in a new area of knowledge with every new project I tackle. I also love using words and tone to hit the right chord with the reader. When I’m not tapping my keyboard, you’ll find me at the arcade playing balloon darts or bowling. Take my money!
