Challenge

When the College of Law engaged with Refresh Marketing, the team recognised a core truth – a powerhouse education brand needed content that communicates deep value to prospective students, partners and alumni alike. The College wanted a consistent, credible stream of content that would:

  • Elevate its digital presence
  • Support student recruitment and engagement
  • Strengthen thought leadership in a crowded legal education market
  • Deliver clarity across platforms – from web pages to emails to social channels

Plus, given the The College also wanted to upskill its inhouse marketing team with real writing confidence, not just outsource tasks.

Solution

RM stepped in as a long-term strategic content partner – embedded across the organisation. For more than a decade, we’ve worked across teams, programs and initiatives to ensure messaging is clear, consistent and working hard at every touchpoint.

Our work includes:

  • Blog and thought-leadership content: Regular, timely pieces that build authority and relevance with the College’s target audiences.
  • Course guides & brochures: Designed and written to guide prospective students through complex educational decisions with confidence.
  • Website content and structure: Clear, persuasive website copy that reflects the College’s depth of expertise and practical learning outcomes.
  • Email nurturing campaigns: Scripts and sequences that keep prospective students and alumni engaged and moving through the customer journey.
  • Lead magnets: Strategic downloads designed to capture qualified leads.
  • Industry influencer spotlights: Interviews and feature content that leverage respected voices to build the College’s credibility and extend its reach.
  • Research executive summaries: Clear, concise summaries that translate complex research and insights into practical content for legal professionals.
  • Change management communications: Human-centred messaging to support major internal changes and drive alignment across teams.
  • Workshops and internal training: Digital content and copywriting training (via our sister business, Communication Skills Academy) to the College’s in-house marketing team.

Results

After 10+ years of collaboration, the College of Law now:

  • Has stronger enrolment support materials that connect with students at every stage of their learning pathway.
  • Benefits from internal confidence in writing and messaging, boosting output quality and speed.
  • Has ongoing content that supports thought leadership and community engagement.
The College of Law website

RM always produces work of the highest level. Their copywriters have a terrific ability to distil complex information and transform it into writing that’s appealing and easy to digest. They are also easy to work with, deliver on time and on budget – and have a great sense of humour. I will now only work with RM when it comes to writing copy!
