The School’s researchers are producing globally recognised work, influencing policy and contributing to major economic and social conversations. So it certainly had the substance. It just needed synthesis.

The School needed a clear and compelling way to:

  • Showcase its most meaningful achievements
  • Align stories with its Strategy 2030 pillars
  • Balance academic credibility with accessibility
  • Create a publication worthy of a world-ranked institution

The 2025 Impact Report needed to do more than document activity. It needed to demonstrate leadership – with clarity and authority.

Solution

From executive messaging to feature stories and impact highlights, RM wrote the full report to reflect UNSW Business School’s authority and global standing. Our approach combined:

  • Story mining and stakeholder consultation: We worked with the Business School’s External Engagement lead and her team to identify the strongest examples of research, teaching excellence and industry engagement. This ensured the report reflected the breadth and depth of the School’s work.
  • Strategic narrative development: We structured the publication around the pillars of Strategy 2030, aligning diverse initiatives under a unified, forward-looking narrative.
  • Complexity made clear: We translated sophisticated research and policy contributions into accessible, engaging copy, without compromising academic integrity.

Throughout the process, we also worked with the Business School’s design graphic partner to ensure the final publication was cohesive and fitting this prestigious institution’s public brand.
